-
A peaceful campground surrounded by primeval forests and renowned for its beautiful starry skies. With its tops-in-the-county water quality, Lake Shikaribetsu is the envy of canoeists.
*No reservations necessary. If you will be arriving late, please set up your camp in a way that does not cause a disturbance to other campers. Fees may be paid to the administrative staff the following day.
- Landscape
- A campground with abundant natural environments located on the banks of Lake Shikaribetsu. It becomes pitch black after lights-out and campers can see the starry skies free of artificial lights.
- Activities
- Guests can launch their canoes and kayaks from the sandy beach that occurs naturally as if sticking out from Lake Shikaribetsu. Due to effects of the 2016 typhoon, a large amount of driftwood has washed ashore. When launching your canoe, please take care to avoid them and launch from the edge of the sandy beach.
